Ideal for: Gastropub fans, people watching

Cost: Varies due to specials throughout the week

Offerings: Beer, burgers, pub grub

Experience: We chose to sit outside on the sidewalk so we could sun while people watching.  Our waitress was great.  She started off by complimenting my shoes which is a quick way to get into my good graces. I decided to get the farmhouse burger which came with bacon, an egg, and aioli.  My friend got the short rib grilled cheese.  When I  heard the waitress rave about her sandwich, I knew that I had made a mistake. That feeling was reinforced when I tasted the burger. There was just too much happening. The runny egg and the aioli were not a great mix.  I know that living in Texas for so long has heavily influenced my standards for a decent burger. My medium burger was too charred on the outside while not being as flavorful on the inside.  I couldn’t finish it.  The burger and fries combo that I had was around $15 for some regular ground beef not some bison or lion meat.  My friend enjoyed her selection.  I may not do the burger again, but would be willing to try other things on the menu. They have a great blueberry beer.  Since there is outdoor seating, you can bring your furry little friends with you.
