Laser Wolf
Cost: Inexpensive
Offerings: Craft Beer
Experience: Some friends and I (Mel) were tired of the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations happening downtown and wanted a more relaxed vibe. We high-tailed it away from the downtown bar scene. This place is still downtown, but not near a whole host of other places.
When we arrived, we were promptly greeted by one of the bartender/owners. We were not sure what we wanted, when asked due to the extensive list of craft beers available. The bar itself is in a cute little building with not a lot of room inside, but offers a courtyard and the sidewalk for a place to sit. Kitschy items abounded inside which I loved, along with a Bruce Lee movie playing in the background.
I ordered a strawberry cider that was pretty delicious, for my first round. For the second round, I ordered a bitter, dark beer that was only $3. We first sat outside on the sidewalk, but then moved to the courtyard after one of my friends realized it existed. Laser Wolf is a great place to enjoy a good brew with good friends.
Seating: Inside – high, armless bar stools; Outside – chairs with arms that are not completely uncomfortable(depends on how your body weight is distributed)
Pros: extensive selection of beers, chill ambience
Cons: No official parking lot
